There are multiple factors that could affect the size of the crane required for the lift. If you’re unsure of the crane size you need, we suggest you ask for a Site Inspection, this is a free service and could potentially save you money. Call us on 0434 243 151 to discuss your options.

Cranes can operate in most weather conditions, depending on what you are lifting and how high it is going. With high wind speeds it can be very dangerous, and the job will be postponed if it is too dangerous. However, this has a lot of contributing factors depending on the lifting requirement, the length of the telescopic job used and the particular crane model itself. We are happy to discuss the job anytime.

All of our cranes carry the necessary chains, slings and shackles to lift your load. If you require specialist-lifting equipment, simply let us know well in advance as it may need to be sourced from another avenue and we will bring this with the crane. Additional charges will apply where the equipment requires delivery separately to the crane itself.

Crane hire begins once the crane leaves our depot until the time it returns. To ensure clarity around this we will agree to a set travel time in advance depending on where the site is, so you have confidence in our pricing.

Depending on demand we strive to provide our customers cranes when they are needed on short notice. Generally speaking however, the more notice you can give us the better chance you have of getting exactly what you need when you need it. We can usually get you a crane on the day you want or the next day unless it is for a more complex operation, then we would require up to 1 weeks’ notice.

It is important to have site access clear prior to our arrival. Stable ground is also an essential requirement for using a crane. We recommend speaking to us about your requirements prior to our arrival if you are unsure of your options. Depending on the nature of the project, you may be required to arrange for traffic management or council permits, and these can take time also.

Anything that is outside our normal crane operation hours will be charged at overtime rates. These hours are 6.30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday. Weekends are a minimum of 4 hours and incur overtime charges. Please contact us to discuss your options.
